Tori Rogers: Founder, CEO and Creative Director of Ebony Expats.
In 2017, Tori relocated to Thailand to be her best self. Connection was always a top priority for Tori, so even before making the plunge, Tori set up a Meetup.com group with the goal of finding just 3 black friends when she landed. Fast forward three years, and she’s thriving in Bangkok with a growing enterprise: Ebony Expats (EE). EE grew from that small meet-up group to an engaged community.
In the past few years alone, she has launched a podcast, started a weekly Expat News show on Facebook, was featured in BK Magazine, Travel Massive, and The Big Chili Magazine. Tori was also a part of the efforts to gather 100 Black expats for a Spike Lee casting party and helped coordinate casting for extras for Spike’s recent movie “Da 5 Bloods” which was partly filmed in Thailand.
Tori is a Creative Visionary that dreams super big and as a Connector, she’s in the business of making things happen.
