Why I started The Good Localist:
After working and consulting for a few social enterprises in Thailand, I started to become hyper-aware of the environmental and social impact that I was having as a consumer. I tried my best to shop locally for clothes and groceries, and became very mindful of how I was “voting with my money.”
The idea for The Good Localist came up when I realized that we don’t have a directory for consumers to easily find responsible local businesses in Bangkok, and I wanted an easy way that we can consolidate and support all of them.
Building a community of Good Localists is also one of my goals for creating The Good Localist
